About Jason

I live in the great city of Philadelphia, and like most Philly folks, I’m hard-working and scrappy. It’s true, our surly reputation is well deserved, but we’re not just cheesesteaks and middle fingers. Once you get past our gruff exterior, you will find a thriving creative community and an awesome food scene.

Throughout my design career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with exceptionally creative and intelligent individuals. This experience has taught me the importance of maintaining humility and being easy to work with over personal acclaim.

In my personal life, I’m a husband, father, and dog dad to our always entertaining rescue dogs Zion, Snoochie, Gus, and cat Bodhi. As a family, we enjoy traveling, camping, surfing, and snowboarding, and have visited Zion National Park in Utah, Glacier National Park in Montana, and Cancún, Mexico, among other destinations. Most recently, we ventured to the beautiful state of Washington—visiting Seattle and the northern coastline.

Keeping active is important to me, so most evenings are spent learning new techniques and sharpening my Jiu-Jitsu skills. Additionally, I enjoy reading, seeing live music, standup comedy, and home improvement projects.

Freelance

I’m currently available for project work. Reserve a block of time to begin yours.

Small Project (1-2 days)

Perfect for quick turnarounds — when you promised the client two high-level creative directions by Friday afternoon and it’s already Wednesday.

10 design hours

Medium Project (3-4 days)

20/hrs

Just enough time to get those remaining five mobile wireframes built and desktop navigation prototypes created by the end of this sprint.

20 design hours

Larger Project (1-2 weeks)

40/hrs

Ideal in situations like — your lead designer is taking that well-deserved vacation to Spain but the pain points in the user experience are still unresolved.
